Welcome to NRL!

                Thanks for your willingness to help with our new baseball program. It is our intent to make this a positive and fulfilling experience for all players and families involved.

                Background Checks:

                As a part of our insurance requirements, we need to do a background check on each of our coaches and volunteers. Please complete the attached Volunteer Application Form and return it to me along with a copy of your current driver’s license. Your social security number is also needed as is noted on the Volunteer Application Form.

                Coach and Volunteer Training:

                You will also be required to complete two brief online training classes related to Concussions in Sports and Protecting Students from Abuse. These two One-hour classes are free on the National Federation of High Schools website. Information is attached explaining how you can assess the classes. Once you have completed the classes we will need a copy of your certificate of completion for our records.

                We will also be scheduling CPR Training. More information will be coming about this.

                Good Sportsmanship Policy / Code of Conduct:

                                Please read and sign off on the attached form. This is extremely important to our organization to keep a fun and safe playing environment for all involved.

 

Upcoming dates:

                March 14, 2026 – starting at 9 am. Ball Park Clean Up Day: Yard clean up, painting, equipment clean up. If you are available all help will be appreciated.

                March 22, 2026 – starting time 2pm skills assessment day for Player Pitch and Pitching Machine players. Assessments of skill levels will be made in determining team assignments for balanced teams. Practice dates and game dates will be set after team assignments are completed.

                April 4, 2026 – T Ball Practice and Meet & Greet Time, start time 9 am.

                No games Memorial Day Weekend – May 22 & 23

Tentative Weekly Schedule:

                                Tuesday night – Player Pitch Team 1 Practice

                                Wednesday night – Player Pitch Team 2 Practice

                                Thursday night – Pitching Machine Practice

                                Friday night – Player Pitch Game Night 6:30

                                Saturdays – T Ball at 9 am / 30 minutes of skills and instruction

                                                                                45 minutes game

-          Pitching Machine 10:30 / 1 hour                       

 

April 11, 2026, Opening Day

                                9 am Opening Ceremonies

                                9:30 am T Ball

                                11:00 Pitching Machine Game

                                12:30 Player Pitch Game

                Thanks for your interest in our new baseball program. It is our intent to make this a positive and fulfilling experience for all players and families involved.

                Medical Release Form:

                Please complete and return the attached Medical Release Form for each player. As a part of our insurance requirements, we need have this information available. Also please feel free to discuss any special requests or concerns that you may have with your player’s coach. In the event of any injuries our staff will provide basic first aid and notify the partners as soon as possible. If any injuries require additional medical attention the parents are responsible for additional levels of care, beyond basic first aid. For payment for medical care your individual medical insurance will be the primary source for payment of any care or treatment that is needed. We have an Accident Medical Insurance Policy available if needed.
